Impact: The fantastically creative stories and photos, as you can see from the one above, have been displayed through Do The Green Thing’s Facebook and Twitter. This has built their real-life inspirational examples of recycling and reuse of products, which they use to motivate people around the world to further integrate sustainability into their daily lives. This fresh content has helped to build the organisation’s digital presence, which in turn is enabling them to reframe greener living as smart, fashionable and fun to even more of the online community.

We are delighted that Do Some Good was judged as the Best New App at The Guardian Awards for Digital Innovation last night, beating off strong competition from apps like the Nike Training Club. A big round of applause to all our supporters and charity partners for helping to make Do Some Good shine.

We’re proud to support the Care & Support Alliance and their petition which campaigns to keep adult social care funding and reform on the political agenda.  In a few minutes, you can add your details to the Care & Support Alliance petition, which will be presented to the Government, with the aim of helping older and disabled people live a good quality life, helped by essential services and a care system that works for them.
