The charity: The NSPCC’s vision is to end cruelty to children in the UK. We campaign to change the law and raise awareness, provide services such as the NSPCC helpline and ChildLine, offer advice for adults and run local projects to help children and families.
The 5 minute actions: Over 4,000 surveys were completed to support the NSPCC’s All babies count campaign.
The impact: The impressive uptake of the action has allowed the NSPCC to gain valuable insight into what people understand about abuse. It has also enabled the NSPCC to spread the message that its free, 24 hour helpline is available for any adult with concerns about a child, no matter how small that concern may feel. Help and advice is also available at www.nspcc.org.uk.
“We are thrilled by the uptake of this action. It shows a real desire to help keep babies and children safe.” NSPCC Do Some Good project manager, Dustin Hutchinson.
