CyberMentors is an online platform run by the award-winning charity Beatbullying. It allows mentors aged between 11 and 25 to support other young people who are being bullied and refers them to a qualified counsellor when necessary. On the app you can map bullying around the UK so that CyberMentors can better target services.

Samaritans provide confidential, non-judgemental support, 24 hours a day, for anyone feeling down, unhappy, anxious or stressed. Samaritans believe that talking can help people find hope and relief from their troubles. On the app you can help Samaritans understand wellbeing so they can reach people who need their support.

Practical Action is a development charity with a belief that sharing information and simple ideas can have profound, life-changing effects on the poor. They work to use simple technology to fight poverty and transform lives. On the app you can translate bite-size pieces from “how to” guides to improve lives with Multilingual Translators.

Future Morph
Hidden Science is an initiative from Future Morph, the Science Council's website, to provide people with information about careers in science and maths. It’s their goal to show that studying these subjects isn't a one-track road to life in a lab. On the app you can submit your science question to build knowledge and inspire others.

Groundwork UK
Urban Oasis is run by Groundwork UK, a charity that helps make neighbourhoods better by creating projects and services that will benefit both people and the wider environment. On the app you can share your Urban Oasis to create an interactive map to celebrate Britain’s green spaces.

Play England and The Geography Collective
Love Outdoor Play is a movement between Play England and The Geography Collective to build communities of support for outdoor play. Wherever you see the symbol, you'll find people who welcome play and are looking out for young people. On the app you can tag places to play to help create a national Outdoor Play Map.

photofoundation is an image library of publically donated photos. Profits raised from their sale are donated and charities can use the photos for free. On the app you can donate images to help build an online image bank for charities.

Guerrilla Gardening is brought to you by Student Community Action Newcastle. The term ”guerrilla” conjures up images of soldiers, moving in the dead of night on a mission. In this case, the soldiers are planters, the weapons shovels and the mission to transform rundown sites into places of beauty. On the app you can spot places that need regenerating for Guerrilla Gardening.

The Sustainable Restaurant Association
The Sustainable Restaurant Association helps restaurants become more sustainable through sourcing locally and seasonally, choosing higher-welfare meat and dairy, reducing energy use and recycling more. On the app you can review the sustainability of places you've eaten at to help improve them.

Sustrans
Sustrans makes smarter travel choices easier and more desirable. Sustrans works with families, communities, policy-makers and partner organisations to make it easier for people to travel by foot, bike or public transport more often. On the app you can share your thoughts to help Sustrans free more bikes.

WCAFI
Forest Nation is a new venture from World Clean Air Forest Initiative to get more trees around England. WCAFI’s goal is to fight climate change, deforestation and pollution and help create sustainable livelihoods. They create environmental campaigns that directly improve the sustainability of communities. On the app you can tag places you think need more trees and for every tree kit used here, WCAFI’s tree-planting partners will also plant a tree in a developing country.

The Institute for Volunteering Research (IVR) and Volunteering England
IVR is one of the world’s leading research institutes on volunteering. Its mission is to develop knowledge and understanding of volunteering throughout the UK. The institute is part of Volunteering England, an independent charity committed to supporting, enabling and celebrating volunteering. On the app you can tell them about your views on giving time using your mobile so they understand more about this new form of volunteering.

Allegra Foundation
The Allegra Foundation support sustainable development projects that provide clean drinking water and relevant education to deprived communities in African coffee-producing countries. They run UK Coffee Week, which celebrates the success and vibrancy of the UK coffee culture, whilst raising funds for water projects. On the app you can help Allegra recruit more coffee shops by nominating your favourite local to take part in UK Coffee Week 2012.

LoveCleanStreets is an organisation which provides a free community service, an online and mobile app tool that enables people to upload reports of environmental crime around them throughout the UK. They then work to action Local Authorities to respond to requests. On the app you can support your neighbourhood by reporting a full range of problems, from dog mess through to graffiti and vandalism. www.lovecleanstreets.org

Mencap is the voice of learning disability. They work hard to increase public awareness and fight for changes in laws, attitudes and working practices. They want to see a world where everyone with a learning disability has an equal right to choice, opportunity and respect, with the support they need. On the app you can help them by rating places you know on key learning disability factors, for their Me2 map.

Street League specialise in delivering structured football and education programmes to some of the most disadvantaged, unemployed young people across the UK. They combine intensive football coaching with employment support and guidance to build participants confidence, improve their health, give them the opportunity to achieve qualifications and get them back into work or education. On the app you can fill out a simple survey to let them know how their unique service would make a difference in your area.

Leonard Cheshire Disability
Leonard Cheshire Disability campaign for change and provide innovative services giving disabled people the opportunity to live life their way, removing the barriers which hinder them. They run national campaigns championing disabled people’s rights and work with the Government to make changes to things like benefits and social care. On the app you can fill out a survey mapping, recording and rating places to show how accessible they are for disabled people in your local community allowing Leonard Cheshire Disability to make a real difference in your community.

FutureYou is adapted from the award-winning CyberMentors programme. It provides online mentoring for 14-25 year olds who are moving into education, employment and training. FutureYou works with young people to positively impact their wellbeing, confidence and life skills. On the app you can support young people by sharing your Pearls of Wisdom including life lessons, words of inspiration and tips on CV writing and interview technique. Giving them the benefit of the advice you wish that you'd had.

The Race Online 2012 campaign aims to build a networked nation, where everyone has access to the transformative power of the internet. On the app you can send a short motivational video clip on a variety of themes, all with the goal of inspiring the 8.7 million people who have never used the internet to give it a go for the first time.

The Stroke Association is the only UK charity solely concerned with helping everyone affected by stroke. They are working to create a world where there are fewer strokes and all those touched by stroke get the help they need. On the app you can help by downloading the app and completing the blood stress test.

Envision is a national youth charity that provides programmes which support thousands of young people every year to create their own community projects to tackle issues, inspire and empower them to realise their capacity for positive change and serves to challenge the negative stereotype of young people. The Global Foundation for the Elimination of Domestic Violence aims to become a world leading organisation in addressing domestic violence. They work with a number of partners to provide resources and support for the 1 in 3 women affected by domestic violence worldwide. On the app, you can support the campaign ‘For the women in my life’ and celebrate how fabulous women are by uploading a photo of a woman in your life and say why they are so special.

The Stem cell donation survey is run by Anthony Nolan, a charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer. On the app you can learn more about donating blood stem cells, how the register works and help Anthony Nolan inspire and inform potential donors more effectively.

NSPCC
The NSPCC’s vision is to end cruelty to children in the UK. They campaign to change the law, provide ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline, offer advice for adults and run local projects to help children and families. Complete their ‘All babies count’ survey and help the NSPCC encourage parents, carers and the public to take action to prevent harm and protect babies.

StreetGames is a sports charity that works to take sport to the doorstep of young people in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. The Care & Support Alliance is a consortium of over 50 organisations including Leonard Cheshire Disability, Age UK, MS Society, and Carers UK that represents and support older and disabled people, those with long-term conditions and their families, to campaign to keep adult care funding and reform on the political agenda.

Mary's Meals is a global grassroots movement that sets up school feeding programmes in some of the world’s poorest communities. One daily meal is provided in a place of learning to attract children into a classroom where they receive an education that can, in the future, provide an escape route out of poverty. On the app you can take a quiz to find out the truth about hunger and what Mary’s Meals believe is one solution to it.

We Do Ideas are a youth led social enterprise, delivering ideas parties across the public, private and voluntary sector. After 2 years of prototyping and research they have developed 100 methods, which enhance both the quanity and quality of ideas.
